Baby Storytime is designed to encourage early learning through shared reading, songs, rhymes and movement. Recommended for birth through 24 months, but older kids are welcome!
Children and their caregivers are welcome to join us for fun songs, stories, fingerplays and activities that can help build early literacy skills for children.
This event developed by Sacramento Public Library youth librarians in support of our early learning priority.
Join us at the Central Library in Kids' Place for songs, rhymes, and stories designed to build the early literacy skills of young children. This program is for parents and caregivers of young (0-5) children; older siblings are welcome to attend.

This month we will be discussing The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon.
Join us at the North Highlands-Antelope Library for a discussion about family planning and contraceptive methods, hosted in partnership with ReproNet. Topics will include:
What is a menstrual cycle and which days can I get pregnant?
What increases the chances of pregnancy?
What contraceptive methods are available?
How can I decide which method is best for me?
Participants will learn about how to access health care and/or preventive services and how to obtain information on YouTube, internet searches, and the Sacramento Public Library collection. There will be time for Q&A.

learning activities for young children and their caregivers to meet others and
play together. We'll be playing outside in the garden, or in the community room depending on weather and air quality.
